چکیده

The Synchro-Extracting Transform technique (SET) can capture the changing dynamic in a non-stationary signal which be applied for fault diagnosis of rotating machinery operating under varying speed or/and load conditions. However, time frequency representation (TFR) produced by SET affected noise contained signal, largely reduce accuracy diagnosis. This paper addresses this drawback and presents new extraction operator to improve energy concentration TFR contaminated multi-component using an adaptive ridge curve identification process together with SET. is deployed extract components via iterative approach. effectiveness algorithm verified one set simulated noise-added signals two sets experimental bearing gearbox defect signals. result shows that proposed accurately identify from machine

Adaptive Filtering Strategy to Remove Noise from ECG Signals Using Wavelet Transform and Deep Learning

Introduction: Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a method to measure the electrical activity of the heart which is performed by placing electrodes on the surface of the body. Physicians use observation tools to detect and diagnose heart diseases, the same is performed on ECG signals by cardiologists. In particular, heart diseases are recognized by examining the graphic representation of heart signals w...

Adaptive Noise Cancellation for Multi-sensory Signals

This paper describes a fast adaptive algorithm for noise cancellation using multi-sensory signal recordings of the same noisy source. It is shown that the performance of the new procedure for noise cancellation for multi-sensory signals is improved when compared to previously proposed methods. A short overview of the previously proposed methods is given. Optimality of the algorithm is discussed...

Self-Adaptive Morphological Filter for Noise Reduction of Partial Discharge Signals

Partial Discharge assessment in the insulation of high voltage equipment is one of the most popular approaches for prevention of the insulation breakdown. In the procedure of thisassessment, noise reduction of partial discharge signals to get the original PD signal for accurate evaluation is inevitable. This denoising process shall be carried out such a way that the main features of the p...

New method for analysis of nonstationary signals

BACKGROUND Analysis of signals by means of symbolic methods consists in calculating a measure of signal complexity, for example informational entropy or Lempel-Ziv algorithmic complexity. For construction of these entropic measures one uses distributions of symbols representing the analyzed signal. RESULTS We introduce a new signal characteristic named sequential spectrum that is suitable for...
